One Spirit Youth Group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 7pm to 8pm. One Spirit is a two year program that can be joined at any time for teens ages 13 to 18 years old. We are currently in the first year where we are learning more about what it means to be a Christian, how we belong in the church, and the church belongs to us. The first year is spent learning more about our spiritual side and learning about the church from the inside out. The second year will be spent also on spirituality and how we as a church can help within the community. At the end of the second year is a possible mission trip to the Appalachians where we will find out what that community's needs are and how we can possibly meet them.

 

One Spirit Youth Group is a curriculum designed just for teens by Sandy Snyder, Chestnut Hill's Youth Minister. Sandy is studying to get her Bachelor's of the Arts in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Care with an online college. She has had experience teaching teens in the Episcopal Church when she lived in Virginia. She is also currently enrolled in the Licensed Minister Program through the Northeastern Pennsylvania Conference with the United Church of Christ.
